Six participants, one evidence base
A person with an injury, a researcher, a laboratory, a clinician, a person who checks records and an organisation — each with their own words, their own actions and their own way onward.
Choosing a workspace changes the words, the order, what you may do and who you can hand a question on to. It never changes an answer: every number here is the same row of the same projection that every other workspace reads.
Whose workspace
A person with an injury
A person living with a spinal cord injury, reading about their own function and about what is being tried.
Researcher
Somebody doing the science: what is known, what is contested, and where the gaps that would be worth closing are.
Laboratory
A group rather than a person: what the group's own work stands on, and who else is working on the same technologies.
Clinician
Somebody who answers to a person in front of them: what the evidence supports today, in humans, and what it does not.
Canon curator
The person who decides what this canon says: what is undecided, what is contested between sources, and what is waiting for a judgement.
Organisation
A funder, a company or an institution: where work is happening, who is doing it, and what has changed since the last look.
